Challenge

The Guidonia Environment is the company that manages urban hygiene services and waste collection in the Municipality of Guidonia Montecelio.
The highlighted need was to improve the current planning and monitoring of oversight activities that was being done on paper, making it difficult to coordinate teams and impossible to certify the missions carried out. Therefore, we developed a dedicated application to supervise and verify in real time the execution of tasks.

The main challenge in the surveillance sector is to ensure in real-time the passage of personnel: without immediate feedback, the control service is not reliable.

Manually coordinate activities, routes, and shifts due to disorganization, overlaps, or omissions in the work.

Without a centralized system, it is not possible to collect, analyze, and securely store the information related to the missions carried out.

After careful observation of the working methods and coordination, we analyzed the needs and limitations of the current management systems to truly understand the context.
The work focused on:
Ensure an accessible and as smooth an experience as possible for operators from the perspective of user interface and usability;
Integrate with existing systems, to promote a gradual and sustainable digital evolution that remains economically and timely accessible.
Solution

Functionalities
The management platform is highly customizable: it is capable of managing the administrative area of the records and the operational area for controlling the processing phases and production times.
The system allows monitoring, analyzing, and exporting production and performance data into specific reports useful for optimizing operations.
Check each area through the NFC TAG
Bringing the smartphone close to the control point will mark it as completed: this ensures traceability and reduces the risk of errors.
After each check, the operator confirms whether the area is safe or reports any anomalies through configurable notes.
View dynamic maps and missions in real-time
The platform allows the creation and updating of operational maps with geolocated checkpoints. Operators view the route and tasks directly from their smartphones, ensuring immediate alignment between field and headquarters.
Guarantees real-time route monitoring
The administrator manages missions, checkpoints, and registries from a single console.
All activities are visible in real-time and available for analysis and reporting. Each checkpoint clearly indicates the status of progress.
