It is with this vision that the new Betacom office in Sardinia, in Ossi, was born: a step that strengthens the Group's presence in the territory and opens up new possibilities for collaboration with businesses, universities, research centers, and innovative organizations.

Indeed, Sardinia represents a particularly interesting ecosystem for developing new synergies between scientific research, digital skills, and the industrial world. Being directly present in the territory means being able to build closer relationships and create the conditions for ideas and technologies to become concrete projects.

A growth model based on relationships

The choice of Ossi is part of a growth path that over the years has led Betacom to progressively expand its presence in Italy and abroad.

A path in which, however, dimensional growth has never been the only goal.

From presence to projects: HAWK-EYE

This journey already starts with a concrete project.

Betacom is indeed a partner in HAWK-EYE – Advanced Monitoring and Decision Support for high-RES energy systems, a Research and Development project under the Sardinia Regional Program ERDF 2021-2027, dedicated to smart grids and technologies for the energy transition.

The project brings together Betacom, NSA Italia, JP Droni, and the University of Cagliari with the aim of developing a solution that integrates satellite data, drones, and Artificial Intelligence to contribute to a more advanced management of photovoltaic and wind power plants.

For Betacom, this will be an opportunity to make available its expertise in Data Intelligence, AI, data integration, and decision support, working closely with complementary scientific and technological skills.

HAWK-EYE thus becomes a first concrete example of what the new office aims to represent: a bridge between skills, research, and industrial application.
